Carex xerantica
Family: Cyperaceae
Distribution: From Manitoba to Alberta south to CO and n. AZ. It is attributed to
New Mexico from two immature (unidentifiable) specimens collected in the Jemez Mts.
Plants Seen or Cited: New Mexico: Jemez Mts., Osborn, 1322 & 1619.
Discussion: If Carex xerantica is in New Mexico, it is not a rare species.
