Eryngium sparganophyllum Hemsl.


Family: Apiaceae

Distribution: NM: New Mexico to southern Arizona and Mexico, Marshy ground; southwestern NM; 4,500-5,000 ft. (1) ARIZ: Agua Caliente ranch, near Tucson, 3,000 ft, marshy ground, New Mexico to southern Arizona and Mexico.

Similar Species: differs from other NM congeners in having linear leaves with parallel venation.

Remarks: Until more information is available about Mexico distribution, should be considered to be rare.
