Hieracium pringlei Gray


Family: Asteraceae

Distribution: From Chihuahua and Neuvo Leon southward in the mountains to southwestern Guatemala. Also in the Santa Rita Mountains in Arizona.

Plants Seen or Cited: UNM Specimens: None

Habitat: Understory of pine, oak and mixed pine-oak forests.

Remarks: It is a peripheral in New Mexico if it occurs at all, and should be removed. It has a huge distribution in Mexico and Guatemala.
