Distribution: I'm relying on Soreng's thesis for this. He maps 13 localities in New Mexico for this species, as well as 30 in Colorado and 1 in Utah. In New Mexico it extends from the Sacramento Mountains north to near Raton. Its distribution seems to be similar to that of Puccinellia parishii. I have never found it myself.
