Distribution

Widespread throughout the US, Mexico, Canada,and Greenland (Carex eburnea). Carex mckittrickensis/eburnea is only known from the Guadalupe Mountains, mostly in TX, with one collection from the Sacramento Mountains in Otero County, NM (SEINET 2021).

Remarks

Synonymous with Carex eburnea Boott, which makes it widespread and common.
