Photograph Usage Guidelines

If a photograph is attributed to another source, consult that source for photograph usage requirements. Photographs attributed to Federal agencies are public domain. All other photographs may be used freely for educational or other nonprofit purposes as long as notification is sent to the photographer and the image is clearly credited with the photographer's name and this website. Contact the photographer for any commercial use, or to inquire about obtaining a higher resolution image. Photographer contact information is available in the list of Photographers and Authors.
