Richard Worthington reported this taxon as new to New Mexico at the New Mexico Rare Plants meeting on March 12, 2001. Subsequent investigation indicated the taxon has too broad a range in Texas and Mexico to meet our definition of rare.

Distribution

Throughout New Mexico, but also in AZ, CO, TX, and Mexico.
