Remarks
This species was newly discovered in New Mexico by Ben S. Legler in 2009 (Jour Bot Res Inst Texas 4(2). 2010). It occurs in very small populations, but is extremely widespread with occurrences in 13 western states and 5 Canadian provinces. There are 25-30 sites in Colorado. It has to many occurrences over a broad range to be considered rare
