Cerastium texanum (Texas Chickweed)


Distribution
Good (1987) gives a rather wide range of Chihuahua, Sonora, and Baja del Sur in Mexico. In the U.S. it ranges from southeast AZ, southwest NM to the Edwards Plateau in TX.
Habitat
This is an annual species that occupies lower elevations than other members of the genus, but can get up into mixed conifer forest.
