Distribution

This plant occurs in New Mexico and Texas. In New Mexico it occurs only in the Organ Mountains; in Texas, it occurs in the Trans-Pecos region. It has a Heritage Program rank of S1S2 for New Mexico and S3 for Texas.

Remarks

This plant occurs in Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. It is in 22 counties in Utah and 9 in New Mexico. It is apparently less frequent in the other states. Plants are localized in wetland habitats, but not rare.
