Distribution
This species is endemic to the Sierra Madre Occidental from Arizona to Durango; most common in Chihuahua. In NM, it occurs only in the Animas Mts.
Habitat
Moderately dry, rocky slopes in chaparral, montane meadows, and pine forests.
