Description

This species was named by Atwood and Welsh in Novon 17:403-416 (2007). Plants of this species were previously identified as P. integrifolia.

Distribution

It has a range from eastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico to the Jemez Mountains in north-central New Mexico. It is common within its range

Remarks

Populations of this species are common throughout the Colorado Plateau.
